The Perth Mint special show release will be an Australian 1oz silver limited edition coloured coin, Kookaburra. The Australian kookaburra is fondly known for its distinctive call which sounds similar to human laughter, and can be heard echoing through the trees at dawn and dusk.

The obverse, which is not colorized, features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with the legal tender value of '1 Dollar'.

The reverse of the coin features this year’s Australian Kookaburra design rendered in vibrant color. A young kookaburra appears perched on a tree branch sheltered by leaves. Above is the inscription 'AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA' with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark and the '2014 1 oz 999 Silver' year-date.

Each coin is housed in a grey display case, within an illustrated shipper featuring the ANDA logo alongside the dates of the Melbourne show.

На аверсе отчеканен портрет королевы Великобритании Елизаветы II работя Яна Бродли (о чем говорият инициалы под портретом «IRB». Вокруг выгравированы надписи: «ELIZABETH II • AUSTRALIA 2014 • 5 DOLLARS».

На реверсе, выполненном в виде изображения через окуляра телескопа, показано созвездие Ориона. Выпуклость монеты увеличивает эффект ощущения «просмотра через телескоп». Вдоль края выгравированы надписи: «SOUTHERN SKY» (Южное небо) и «ORION» (Орион).

The Royal Australian Mint has started accepting orders for the third coin in well-received Southern Sky series. Similar to previous issues, the coin features a domed shape, with a convex obverse and concave reverse.

The series has presented constellations which are visible within the southern hemisphere shown on color printed domed coins. The first release of the series from 2012 featured the Southern Cross or “Crux.” The second release from 2013 featured the Pavo constellation.

The latest release of the series features Orion, a constellation which is visible throughout the world. It was named after Orion, a hunter in Greek mythology. The constellation is depicted on the concave reverse as seen from the southern hemisphere against an irridescent colored background. A compass themed border surrounds the design, including navigational markers and coordinates.

The convex obverse of the coin carries the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, with the legal tender face value of “5 Dollars” and the “2014″ date.

На аверсе расположен портрет королевы Великобритании Елизаветы II, окруженный надписями: «Elizabeth II • Niue Island • Ag 925 • 2015». В центре в цвете изображен рог изобилия с множеством овощей и фруктов. В правой части указан номинал «1 dollar».

Реверс несет изображение головы козла с золотыми рогами. Полукругом выгравирована надпись «Plenty Year of the Goat» (Изобильный Год Козы).

Still very early, so still picking up steam, coins for the 2015 Lunar Year of the Goat, (also Ram or Sheep) are putting in an appearance with a little more regularity.

The coin we have here is from Zurich-based producer, International Coin House, whose recent output has included the well-recieved Aureus trio of coins. It’s the second coin in the series after the Lunar Horse coin released last year, and shares its predecessors trait of being shaped like the jead of the animal depicted. The goat has offered them the opportunity to do something a little less extreme and a little more coin-like than the 2014 piece. One of those coins you’ll love or hate, but people definitely warmed up to last years coin.

Obverse: carries a profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by the inscriptions Elizabeth II, Niue Island, Ag 925 and 2015. To the far right is the denomination of 1 dollar. An image of the legendary ‘horn of plenty’ filled with fruit covers the rest of this side.

Reverse: depicts the head of a ram with a golden horn around which is the inscription ‘PLENTY YEAR OF THE GOAT’.

Новая памятная монета из серии овальных цветных монет была выпщена в феврале 204 года в рамках празднования значительной вехи в испории мирового транспорта.

После успешных выпусков монет, посвященных 100-летию рокового плавания Титаника и 130-летию первому скоростному поезду Orient Express, Чешский монетный двор предсьавид памятную монету в честь 50-летия первой поездки легендарного японского скорого поезда Синкансэн (Shinkanzen).

Также, это событие было отмечено монетой Японии.

Автором овальной серебряной монеты, напоминающий о запуске  поезда Синкансэн, стал японский художник Йозеф Oplištil, который уже не раз побеждал в художественных конкурсах Чешского национального банка. Он уже разрабатывал или участвовал в создании одиннадцать памятных монет Чешского национального банка.

На аверсе показаны три типа поездов Shinkanzen (справа — с нашей точки зрения — Существует исторически первая серия 0 из 1964), а также поезда Серия 500 (в центре) и Серия E3 (слева). Также размещены портрет королевы Елизаветы и надпись «Shinkanzen» по-японски .

Реверс представляет еще пять типов поездов и символ японской нации — восходящее солнце Благодаря технологии окраски мотив восходящего Солнца доминирует монету. Представлены следующие типы поездов (слева направо): Серия 200, Серия N 700, Серии 500, Серии 300, Серии 700.

A commemorative coin of the series of oval coloured Smart coins commemorating significant milestones of world transport. 'Following the successful emissions commemorating the 100th anniversary of destruction of the Titanic liner and 130th anniversary of the first Orient Express fast train ride the Czech Mint now issues a commemorative coin reminding of the 50th anniversary of the first ride of the legendary Japanese fast train called Shinkanzen.

Japan can boast of a global primacy in being the first country in the world to complete building of a railway exclusively for fast trains. The project of separate railways for this type of transport was first developed in the 1950s. The result was a high-speed railway track connecting the two largest Japanese cities – Tokyo and Osaka. The first fast trains travelled along the track at the speed of up to 210 km/hr on 1 October 1964 and only three years later already reached the limit of 100 million transported passengers. At present the Shinkanzen network includes eight main lines and serves most of the Japanese archipelago.

The author of the oval silver coin reminding of the significant event of launch of operation of the Shinkanzen fast train route is the Jablonec artist Josef Oplištil, who is extremely successful in art competitions of the Czech National Bank. He has already designed or co-designed eleven commemorative coins for the Czech National Bank and currently works as a professional teacher and deputy headmaster of the local Professional Higher Education Institute.

The obverse side of the oval silver coin shows three types of the Shinkanzen trains (on the right - from our point of view - there is the historically first series 0 of 1964), a portrait of Queen Elizabeth and the inscription "Shinkanzen" in Japanese. The reverse side shows another four train types and the symbol of the Japanese nation - the rising Sun. Thanks to the colouring technology the motif of the rising Sun dominates the coin.

The silver rectangle coin features a coloured representation of Dame Eileen Mayo’s iconic' Australia’ (Kangaroo) poster, first released in 1957, headed by the inscription 'VINTAGE TRAVEL'.

Each coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2014 year-date on the obverse.

Королевский монетный двор Канады в августе 2014 года выпустил новую монету серии «Детеныши животных» — «Детеныш тупика».

Тупик, или атлантический тупик — морская птица рода Тупики семейства чистиковых. Большую часть времени они проводят в море, покачиваясь на волнах, иногда в сотнях километров от суши. 

Атлантический тупик — одна из самых любимых птиц Канады! Эту красочную птицу можно наблюдать вдоль берегов Ньюфаундленда и Лабрадора, где она является официальной птицей провинции с 1992 года. 

У тупика есть крылья, но он ужасный летун — чтобы оставаться в воздухе ему нужно махать крыльями до 400 ударов в минуту! Поэтому известны частые «аварийные посадки», когда тупик может легко опрокинуть других тупиков, стоящих на его пути посадки. 

Удивительно, что тупики могут нырять на глубину до 61 метров и задержать дыхание под водой до одной минуты! Как правило, за один нырок тупик ловит около 10 рыб, но иногда число доходит до 60 за одно погружение!

На аверсе выгравирован портрет королевы Елизаветы II и надписи: «ELIZABETH II», «D•G•REGINA».

Реверс представляет детеныша тупика среди трав и цветов, ожидающий свою еду. На фоне расположено рельефное изображения мамы с рыбой в клюве. На заднем планы виден прибрежный пейзаж Атлантического океана  и маяк. Также выгравированы надписи: название страны-эмитента «CANADA», номинал «20 DOLLARS» и год выпуска «2014». Дизайнер Glen Loates.
