Монетный двор США в 2014 году представляет несколько наборов в честь празднования 50-летия полдоллара «Кеннеди». Монеты будут отчеканены на четырех различных монетных дворах. Первый набор будет выпущен в продажу в конце июля 2014 года.
50 центов с изображением Кеннеди — монета США номиналом в 50 центов, которая чеканится с 1964 года по сегодняшний день. Находится в обращении. По стечению обстоятельств, новый дизайн монеты стал причиной её постепенного выхода из обихода из-за ряда не связанных друг с другом событий. Во-первых, многие жители США сохраняли монеты как память об их любимом президенте. В 1965 году Линдон Джонсон отменил серебряный стандарт, что вызвало быстрый выход из обращения отчеканенных ранее серебряных монет (в том числе и 50 центов с изображением Кеннеди 1964 года). 24 июля 2014 года, Монетный двор США начнет принимать заказы на юбилейный набор монет Kennedy Half Dollar. Набор будет состоять из двух монет по 50 центов из медно-никелевого сплава, отчеканенных на монетных дворах Филадельфии («P») и Денвера («D») в 2014 году.
Новые монеты будут нести портрет Кеннеди, взятый с оригинального дизайна монеты 1964 года. Монеты будут упакованы в футляр и укомплектованы информационным буклетом о 50-летнем юбилее выпуска 50-центовой монеты.
Набор качеством UNC будет стоить $ 9.95. Тираж не ограничен.
5 августа 2014 года начнутся продажи золотой монеты Kennedy Half Dollar. Монета из золота 999-й пробы, весом 21,26 г. Монета будет выпущена монетным двором Вест-Пойнта. Дизайн вновь повторит оригинальную монету 1964 дизайн, только будет нести двойную дату «1964–2014».
Монетный двор США также будет предлагать набор в честь 50-летия выпуска полдоллара Кеннеди из четырех серебряных монет. На аверсах также будет выгравирован портрет, взятый с оригинального дизайна монеты 1964 года.

The United States Mint will be offering three special numismatic products to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy Half Dollar. The products will include coins struck at four different mint facilities, in three different metals, and with four different finishes. The first product is scheduled to go on sale later this month.
The Kennedy Half Dollar was introduced in 1964 to memorialize President John F. Kennedy. The coin had been authorized by Congress just a month after his assassination. The obverse features a profile portrait of President Kennedy designed by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Gilroy Roberts based on a portrait prepared for Kennedy’s presidential medal. The reverse design by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Frank Gasparro is based on the presidential seal. It includes a heraldic eagle with a shield on its breast, holding an olive branch and bundle of thirteen arrows, with a ring of 50 stars surrounding.
For the first year of issue in 1964, the Kennedy Half Dollar was struck in a composition of 90% silver and 10% copper. For the years 1965 to 1970, the composition was changed to 40% silver and 60% copper. From 1971 onwards, the standard versions have been struck in 91.67% copper and 8.33% nickel, although certain numismatic versions have been struck in 40% silver or 90% copper. Starting in 2002, the half dollar has not been produced for general circulation, but only produced in the limited quantities necessary to meet demand from collectors.
On July 24, 2014, the United States Mint will begin accepting orders for the 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half Dollar Uncirculated Coin Set. This product will contain two 2014-dated half dollars struck in the standard copper-nickel clad composition at the Philadelphia and Denver facilities, carrying the «P” and «D” mint marks. These coins will replicate the portrait used on the original 1964 design. The two coins are packaged in a coin card and folder, which will contain information about the 50th anniversary of the coin design, coin specifications, and a certificate of authenticity.
On August 5, 2014, sales will begin for the 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half Dollar Gold Proof Coin. The coin will be struck in roughly three-quarters of an ounce of 24 karat gold at the West Point Mint. The portrait will once again replicate the original 1964 design and the coins will carry the dual date of «1964–2014″.
The US Mint has not yet announced whether a maximum mintage will be established for the gold coin. There will be an initial ordering limit of five coins per household. Pricing has also not yet been provided and will likely be established shortly before the release. The Mint has confirmed that the gold proof coins will be available for sale at their booth at the ANA World’s Fair of Money held in Rosemont, Illinois from August 5–9, 2014.
The Mint will also be offering a 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half Dollar Four Coin Silver Set. This product will include four 2014-dated half dollars struck in 90% silver at four different facilities and featuring four different finishes. All coins will carry the obverse portrait used for the original 1964 design. The coins will include a proof version struck at the Philadelphia Mint, a reverse proof version struck at the West Point Mint, an enhanced uncirculated version struck at the San Francisco Mint, and an uncirculated version struck at the Denver Mint. The coins will carry the «P”, «W”, «S”, and «D” mint marks respectively.
The four coin sets will be priced at $99.95 each. The Mint has not yet announced whether a maximum mintage. There will be an initial ordering limit of five sets per household. An on-sale date has also not yet been established.

This coin features a bright burgundy red trillium bloom where three ruddy petals sit atop three red-lined green sepals. From the centre of the flower rise six pink stamens and three short stigmas. Viewed from the front and slightly above, the flower is perched on a bowing, delicate green stem above the characteristic whorl of three leaf-like bracts borne by all trilliums. Each petal of the flower is adorned with a sparkling crystal-coloured Swarovski element.

Монетный двор Финляндии в июне 2014 года выпустил шестую монету «Грамотность» серии «Этические коллекционные монеты».
В Финляндии 2014 год год считается годом грамотности. Новая монета несет различные символы (шрифт Брайля, ноты и др), которые человечество, используемые для коммуникации на протяжении всей истории.
Грамотность — одно из основных прав человека. 9 апреля каждый год в Финляндии отмечается День Микаэля Агриколы, или День финского языка. Именно Микаэлю Агриколе принадлежит заслуга создания письменного финского языка. Первая финская азбука — ABC-kirja — была закончена и выпущена им в 1543 году. Впоследствии этот год и стали считать годом рождения финской письменности. Агрикола взял за основу финского языка карельский язык и диалект, на котором говорили жители губернии Турку.
В центре аверса изображен символ бесконечности, окруженный кольцом из двоичного кода, нулей и единиц. Вокруг выгравировано кольцо из нот, которое в свою очередь окружено кольцом из точек Брайля. The Literacy coin is the sixth coin to be issued in the Ethical collector coins series. Symbols, Braille, notes – we have told our stories using many signs from one age to the next. Literacy is a basic human right, since these signs help us develop ourselves and build equality between the sexes, lasting peace and democracy.
The Literacy collector coin features different symbols that humankind has used to communicate throughout history. The obverse of the coin depicts the symbols, which form concentric circles with the infinity symbol at the center. The infinity symbol is circled by a binary ring which consists of zeroes and ones, which in turn is circled by a ring of musical notes. The note ring is followed by a ring made up of Braille dots, while the outermost ring consists of letters which spell out LUKUTAITO 2014 ('LITERACY 2014'). The Swedish word for literacy, LÄSFÄRDIGHET, features on the rim of the coin. The reverse of the coin features cave painting patterns forming a ring. The text SUOMI FINLAND and the denomination – €20 or €10 – are on the outer edge.
The Mint of Finland offers the Literacy commemorative coin in two versions, both with the same design. The coin with a nominal value of EUR 10 comes packaged in an enclosed cardboard gift box, while the EUR 20 coin is offered in a recyclable cardboard package. The Perth Mint is thrilled to celebrate Donald Fauntleroy Duck, one of the most beloved Disney characters who first appeared in The Wise Little Hen, released in 1934. The second release within a two year program of Disney collectible coins features the beloved animated character Donald Duck.
Released on June 9, 1934, the film was based on the fairy tale The Little Red Hen. Donald Duck and Peter Pig try to avoid doing work by faking stomach aches until the Wise Little Hen teaches them a lesson. In the film, Donald wears his trademark sailor’s shirt, cap, and bow tie, while communicating in his quacking style of speech as voiced by Clarence Nash.
Throughout the following decades, Donald Duck was nominated for seven Academy Awards and won an Oscar in 1943. Donald’s partner Daisy, his uncle Scrooge McDuck, and his three nephews Huey, Dewey, & Louie, often feature in cartoons alongside him.
The reverse design of the coin features an image of Donald Duck from his debut appearance in The Wise Little Hen with the house and fence from the cartoon forming part of the background. The words “Donald Duck 80th Anniversary” appear in the field with the Disney logo. Additional inscriptions along the base read “1 oz 999 Fine Silver” and “©Disney” as an officially licensed product.
The obverse of the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the “2014″ date and monetary denomination. The coins are struck by the Perth Mint and issued by the New Zealand Mint as legal tender of the South Pacific island nation of Niue.

Банк России 1 июля 2014 года выпускает четыре памятных монеты серий «Памятники архитектуры России».
На аверсе монет расположено рельефное изображение эмблемы Банка России — двуглавого орла с опущенными крыльями. Под ним полукругом выгравирована надпись «БАНК РОССИИ». On July 1, 2014 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issues commemorative coins of precious metals:
The obverse: a relief image of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia — a two-headed eagle with wings down, and a semicircular inscription under it «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA), framed with a circle of beads. Inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coin and the year of issue «2014», between them there is an indication of the metal according to D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, purity, trade mark of the Moscow mint and fine precious metal content.
Coin «The House-Museum of I.S. Turgenev»
The reverse side of the coin bears relief images of the house-museum of I.S. Turgenev in Spasskoye-Lutovinovo with a shot gun, a bandolier and a game-bag below. There is an inscription in four lines in the centre of the disc — «ДОМ-МУЗЕЙ И.С. ТУРГЕНЕВА СПАССКОЕ-ЛУТОВИНОВО» (THE HOUSE-MUSEUM OF I.S. TURGENEV SPASSKOYE-LUTOVINOVO).
Coin «Saint George Church»
The reverse side of the coin depicts a relief image of Saint George church. There are inscriptions along the circumference — «ЦЕРКОВЬ СВЯТОГО ГЕОРГИЯ» (SAINT GEORGE CHURCH) on top and «СЕЛО ДЗИВГИС» (THE VILLAGE OF DZIVGIS) at the bottom.
A silver proof coin in denomination of 3 Roubles (fine metal content 31.1 g, fineness 925/1000, diameter 39.0 mm, mintage 5000 pcs), has the rim raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.

The reverse side of the coin bears relief images of the Old-Golutvin monastery in the town of Kolomna, Moscow Region and a weathercock in the form of an angel blowing the trumpet at the bottom on the right. There are inscriptions — «БОГОЯВЛЕНСКИЙ СТАРО-ГОЛУТВИН МОНАСТЫРЬ» (THE OLD-GOLUTVIN EPIPHANY MONASTERY) along the circumference on top and «МОСКОВСКАЯ ОБЛАСТЬ» (MOSCOW REGION) in two lines on a mat stripe at the bottom.
A silver proof coin in denomination of 25 Roubles (fine metal content 155.5 g, fineness 925/1000, diameter 60.0 mm, mintage 1500 pcs), has the rim raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.
Coin «Tercentenary of the Victory of Russian Navy in the Battle of Gangut»
The reverse side of the coin depicts relief images of three sailing ships and an oar boat in one of the episodes of the Battle of Gangut. There are inscriptions along the circumference — «ГАНГУТ•1714» (GANGUT•1714) on top and «ПОБЕДА РУССКОГО ФЛОТА» (THE VICTORY OF RUSSIAN NAVY) at the bottom.
A gold proof coin in denomination of 1000 Roubles (fine metal content 155.5 g, fineness 999/1000, diameter 50.0 mm, mintage 250 pcs), has the rim raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.
